Updates to the system - 28 February

For your information, the following updates have been made to your
copy of Squadlist.

- Exporting of rower data to Excel
This is the first step in ensuring that clubs are able to fully extract their information from the system.
Coaches may now export rower information using the export link on the right hand side of the admin screen.

The text on this screen is compatible with the Excel CSV format. It can be copied and pasted into a local file for import into Excel or other programs.

- User limit increased
When we released the system, the terms and conditions stated that the number of users per account should not exceed 50.

Having observed that the system is handling it’s current load and that some clubs actually require more than this number of users, the limit has been increased to 256.

Updates to the system -24 January

This message is to inform you of changes to your copy of Squadlist, which will be updated later this week.

The following changes are included in this update:

- The ability to reschedule an incorrectly entered outing, for which no one has yet stated their availability. The new ‘edit outing’ link is located between the ‘closing outing’ and ‘remove outing’ links on the ‘my availability’ screen.

- Cosmetic improvements to the toolbar, squad contacts and entry form details screens.

- The maximum number of ARA points has been increased to 12.

Bug Fixes.

- Correct handling of British Summer Time.
Outings scheduled after 30 March were previously been recorded with an incorrect start time.
This error has now been fixed.

Updates to the system - 3 January

Your copy of Squadlist, which will be updated later this week.

The following changes are included in this update:

- Allowing the birthdate field and weight field to be left empty.
- Adding support for birthdates before 1950.

- Closing outings.
This optional step allows a coach to freeze the availability for a given outing.
Rowers are unable to further alter their stated availability once an outing has been closed.

Rowers see a message informing them that the outing is closed and that they should contact their coach directly if their availability changes.

It is envisioned that coaches might want to do this before setting a final seating assignment for an outing.

All of the above changes should be transparent to your rowers.

Other issues.

- Possible problems sending access details to Yahoo / BT email address.

Yahoo (and possibly BT) appear to be marking the access details messages sent from the admin screen as spam. They may or may not be appearing in the user’s spam folder.

If you are having difficulty setting up users with Yahoo address, we would recommend cutting and pasting the introductory message from the admin screen into your normal email program, before sending it from your own email address.
